Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, on Sunday, joined other national leaders at the National Christian Centre in Abuja for the Thanksgiving service to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary.
The service attracted the presence of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the President of the 10th Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and other distinguished Nigerians.
The event featured hymns, prayers, and exhortations from religious leaders.
Deputy Speaker who represented the Legislators from the Green Chambers delivered the second bible reading from Phillippians 3:12-16.
