As a further demonstration of his total commitment to the security and welfare of Corps members, the Director-General NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim was in Uromi in Edo state on Tuesday, 7th August, 2019, where he comforted the family of Value Eromosele Akhigbe, who went missing in December 2018, while serving in Plateau State.
The Director-General who expressed optimism and hope that, Value Eromosele will be found soon told the mother, Mrs. Dora Akhigbe to remain calm.

Brig General Ibrahim said that NYSC is working with security agencies to make sure the young man is found.
“Mummy, I have spoken with you on phone severally, giving you assurances that we are doing everything possible to locate Value, and I am here physically to reassure you and members of your family that we are working round the clock with all security agencies to find him. I want you to remain calm and be hopeful because I m hopeful that we shall find our missing son. When that happens, I promise to bring him to you personally,” he stressed.
Mrs. Akhigbe appealed to the government to deploy all measures to find her son.
Earlier, Jerry who is an elder brother to Value received the NYSC boss at Auchi and led him to Uromi.
He appreciated NYSC on behalf of the family for the concern it has shown over the ugly situation.
