Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has arrested a suspected vandal, Abdulrahman Auwal, 40, of Layin Tankin Magi, Kura LGA.
This was contained in a statement signed by the public relations officer of the command SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, a copy made available to press on Tuesday in Kano.
According to the statement on Tuesday, the operatives from the Garun Malam divisional office apprehended the suspect while vandalizing transformer fittings and an electric pole at Dakasoye village, Garun Malam LGA.
Amongst items recovered from him, includes eight rods, three NEPA insulators, 43 quarter rods, three
long nuts, Aluminum rod, Hammer, and chisel.
The statement disclosed that the suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
