To ensure the effective change of leadership at the Senate, Security forces in the early hours of Tuesday barricaded the residences of both the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and disallowed vehicles and human movements in and out of the premises with a view to creating room for the selection of another lawmaker as the presiding officer.

While the Nigeria Police Force directed the Senate President on Monday around 8 00 pm to report at the SARS office by 8 00 am yesterday over the Offa Bank robberies Investigation, his Deputy was invited by the EFFC the same day by 10 00am through an invitation letter dated the same day ‎, 24th July this year and their residences Shut down at dawn to prevent them from going to NASS
