Nollywood mourns as veteran actor Ogunjimi passes on

The Nollywood industry has been thrown into mourning once again as Yoruba veteran actor Ganiyu Oyeyemi, fondly known as Ogunjimi, passes  away.

The news of his demise was shared by fellow Yoruba actor Kunle Afod via an Instagram post on Friday, April 26th, 2023.

In his heartfelt message, Kunle Afod wrote, “We tried our best, but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjinmi, RIP, Sun re oooo.”
