Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has said that as part of speed to deliver on the renewed hope mandate of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Works sector, no file would stay longer than two hours in any office to be processed for works.
He said that his period would explore other technology other than the usual tarring of roads so that the concrete options could be explored.
Umahi, who visited the Ministry of Works soon after taking his oath of office at the Aso Rock, said attention would be paid to Lokoja Benin Road and Lokoja Abuja Road.
Umahi, who said he is not an office man but a field person said the roads in the country would provide needed services.
He said he would the various directors should sit up and be ready to work because the result drives him, and only by being dutiful would result be attained.
He revealed that he would be holding a meeting with the various regional directors to be updated on the status of the roads for further action.
He assured the directors that he is not out to bring trouble to anyone but would be firm in his decisions.
