No alternative to electing God-fearing leaders, other than to get PVCs —Kano CAN chairman

Published by

THE Chairman, Christians Association of Nigeria, (CAN) Kano State, Reverend Adeyemo Adeolu Samuel, has called on Christians in Kano in particular and Nigeria at large to register and obtained Permanent Voter Card (PVC), saying the PVC is the only option  to electing God fearing leaders .

His words “as a CAN chairman in the state, I had been sensitising the body of Christ in Kano state, with my other of colleagues to mobilise their subjects to go and registered and get the PVC

Revd Samuel, however, added that those with temporary PVCs, should ensure to go to the local government areas they registered and collect their PVCs.

According to him, “as we are still praying for the 2019 general election, the only way to prove the sincerity of our prayers, is to register and have our PVCs and on each day of voting, we go out and cast votes, this is our civic responsibility  as patriotic citizens.

“We must know that praying alone, without our  PVCs, is like faith without work. Any child of God, without his or her PVC, can be said to have failed God in electing a God-fearing leader for the country:

“Do  not sell the destiny of the country by collecting money before casting your vote.

Do not join political thugs to snatch ballot boxes and do not compromise the truth.

Vote your heart and not your head so that you would not have to regret, Revd Samuel warned.
