NNPC debunks purported recruitment for Port Harcourt refinery

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has urged the public to disregard the purported recruitment announcement for the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) circulating on certain online platforms.

In a statement signed by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi O. Soneye, NNPC Ltd clarified that there was no separate recruitment process for the Port Harcourt Refinery apart from the one that began last year.

This process includes all NNPC Limited’s businesses, with successful candidates from the Computer-Based Aptitude Test now proceeding to the interview stage this week.

“The purported recruitment link being circulated on various online platforms is the work of fraudsters who are attempting to take advantage of the newly revamped Port Harcourt Refinery to deceive unsuspecting members of the public with a fake recruitment announcement. We, therefore, urge the public to be cautious and not fall for this scheme,” the company stated.
