NIWA GM, Dardau Jibril, is dead

The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has lost its General Manager, Corporate Affairs Dardau Jibril.

Dardau died in the early hours of Friday, in Lokoja, Kogi capital.

Family sources indicated that Dardau died shortly after leading the morning prayer.

“Dardau Jibril died in the early hours of today 26th Ramadan 1445, equivalent to 5th April 2024 after leading early morning Subhi Prayer.”

“He will be led to his final resting home at Unguwan Power graveyard in Lokoja, immediately after the Jummat service today.”

Dardau took over the Cooperate Affairs Unit of NIWA shortly after former occupant, Mr. Tayo Fadile retired from government service.

He is a native of Lokoja, Lokoja LGA of Kogi.
