NISALEE assures customers of brighter future

The management of NISALEE Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and outer packaging, has disclosed that arrangement has reached top level to bounce back to business activities despite the fire disaster that destroyed the company factory and offices recently.

Speaking with journalists at its head office in Ibadan on Monday, the General Manager of the company, Mrs Adenike-Idowu, explained that although the company suffered a huge loss to the fire disaster in terms of materials, finished products, raw materials, official documents, office equipment and machineries, the management of the company, is doing everything possible to put the ugly incident behind it and ensure that business commences in earnest.

She also appealed to the company’s customers both within and outside the country not to exercise any fear about the services and future of the packaging company, adding that the company will soon be back on its feet, with even  unique and special services to satisfy the yearnings of their numerous customers.

Adenike-Idowu noted that  the cause of the fire disaster which consumed and destroyed almost everything in the company’s premises still remained a mystery to the management of the company, since the incident happened on a weekend.

She, however, said a high-power investigative panel has been set up to unravel the circumstances behind the fire disaster in order to prevent such occurrence in the future.

The NISALEE Industries Limited General Manager also allayed the fears of hundreds of staff of the company, urging them not to entertain any fear of job loss because it is not in the tradition of the company to transfer aggression or shift blame.

On what she perceived could be the likely cause of the incident, she said, “For now, nobody could actually point to a cause or link it to a factor. But if it is a sabotage as it is being rumoured in certain quarters, the investigative panel set up by the company’s management would help to unravel such,” she stated.

The incident started around 10:45 p.m. last week Sunday and the disaster was so enormous that it took the intervention of the Oyo State Fire Brigade Service and other private fire fighting companies to put out the fire.

The Oyo State Commissioner for Environment, the Senior Special Adviser to the state governor on Trade and Investment, as well as other important personalities and sympathisers had since visited the scene of the incident at Oluyole Estate, Ring Road, Ibadan.

Equipment and materials worth several millions of naira were destroyed by the inferno.
