NiMet predicts sunny, hazy, partly cloudy weather on Wednesday

THE Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions over the central States of the country on Wednesday.

NiMet’s Weather Outlook issued by its Central Forecast Office on Tuesday predicted that dust haze condition with visibility of two to five kilometers would prevail over Minna, Bida and Abuja.

It predicted that the region would have day and night temperature of 31 to 39 degrees Celsius and 14 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
The agency predicted hazy condition over the inland cities of the south with partly cloudy to cloudy condition over the coast during the forecast period.

It predicted isolated rain showers over Yenegoa, Port-Harcourt, Owerri, Awka, Eket and Calabar in the afternoon and evening with day and night temperatures of 32 to 36 and 22 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to NiMet, the northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions with day and night temperature of 31 to 39 and 14 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
It predicted that dust haze condition with visibility range of two to five kilometers is anticipated over places like Kano, Zaria, Nguru, Yelwa and Minna in the next 24 hours.
“Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the northern and central cities of the country in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
