Nigeria’s unity advantageous —CCC Supreme Head, Omoge

Published by

Pastor and Supreme Head, Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Worldwide, The Right Reverend Gabriel Beni Omoge, has called on agitators for Nigeria’s breakup to have a rethink.

Speaking at a press conference at Ojota in Lagos, he noted that the country’s unity would bring prestige and advantage that would benefit the citizenry.

“It is more beneficial for Nigerians to be together than to be separated,” Omoge stated at the conference which was addressed in Yoruba, English, French and Egun languages.

He also said the CCC was not divided but that the members were only separated, and therefore, called all the members to come together to celebrate the church’s forthcoming 70th anniversary.

“Let us cooperate to celebrate ourselves and move the church forward,” he urged.

He said his administration, aside providing amenities like schools, university, hospital for the use of all Christians, was also concerned about the welfare of widows, orphans, women, youths, pastors and families of late heads of the CCC.

Chairman of the group referred to as the Golden 12, which organised the conference, Pastor Adegoke Idowu Oteje, said it was organised to promote the vision of Pastor Omoge, as well as showcase him as the CCC Pastor worldwide.

Affirming Oteje’s position, Prophet Adeyemi Cole listed the pastors as: Oshoffa, the founder; Bada; Ajose; Jesse and Maforikan, who pronounced Omoge as head, before his demise, and called on all CCC members to support Pastor Omoge in the interest of moving the church forward and spread the message of the gospel of Christ.
