Nigerian entrepreneur, social activist pushes digital inclusion, community development initiative

In Nigeria, there has been an exceptional social impact leader credited with groundbreaking efforts in harnessing digital investment technology toward enhancing access to information in disadvantaged communities. Kolade Afeez Siyanbola Oladigbolu, a businessman of maritime and energy descent, has been in the forefront of technology inclusion through his nongovernmental organisation, KAF Foundation.

KAF Foundation, from the time it was formed, has been interested in bringing digital reach to remote and semi-urban communities, particularly within Nigeria’s north. The initiative aims to bridge the information gap faced by communities with limited connectivity, promoting increased social cohesion and empowering the youth through better access to services and communication platforms.

Oladigbolu’s activities have contributed to opening up channels for people’s engagement and participation, especially among the poor.
