Nigerian Army injects 147 new officers into Operation Lafiya Dole

In a bid to re-strategize, in the war against insurgency the Nigerian Army has posted about 147 officers into Operation LAFIYA DOLE alone.

This according to a release signed by the army spokesman Brigadier General Sani Usman, is meant to strengthen divisions, formations and training schools under the theatre command and elsewhere.

Although the new posting did not state if the operation lafiya Dole which houses the command and control centre of the north east insurgency war will have a deputy to assist him with such heavy responsibility and where he will operate from helping out.

With the new posting, it is expected that the billions spent fighting against Boko haram will be justified with new blood coming in to line up at the front line against the recalcitrant Shekau and Albarnawi factions of boko haram fighting through Nigerian army.
