Nigerians have been assured that things will get better in spite of the present economic situation they found themselves in caused by the measures introduced by the Federal Government, particularly the fuel subsidy removal.
Nigerians are further urged to rather pray for God’s divine intervention turn things around positively because nothing is beyond his intervention.
The assurance was contained in a sermon delivered by the Chairman of Bauchi State Council of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) Rev Dr Agbong Collins David at the GoodNews Baptist Church, Wuntin Dada, Bauchi during the 2023 Pulpit Exchange of the CCN.
The Clergyman who took his text from Job 14:7-9 stressed that God is still in the business of saving his people through divine intervention in their various hopeless situations.
In the sermon he titled ‘Hope in hopelessnes, ‘ Agbong Collins David said that all Christians in Nigeria need to do is to intensify prayers be obedient and patient as God is working on fixing the situation in Nigeria.
He drew different examples in the Bible, including that of Abraham and Sarah, encouraging Christians to hold on, no matter what the situation is at present, assuring that it will not be for long.
The Clergyman, however, encourages Christians to take risks for God in faith, saying that it pays to do such as the result is always a song of victory.
He also said that though the situation looks hopeless, there are high hopes for Christians as God is busy refixing the situation for good, stressing that all it requires is strong faith and patience.
