Nigeria@64: Hope not lost for greater Nigeria — Bauchi YAN Speaker

The Speaker of the Youths Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Bauchi State Chapter, Hon. Sani Danaudi Mohammed, has declared that despite the hardships and economic challenges, all hope is not lost as Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day anniversary.

In an Independence Day message made available to journalists in Bauchi, he emphasized, “The Youths Assembly of Nigeria, Bauchi State Chapter, reaffirms its commitment to advocating for youth empowerment and inclusive governance. We will continue to work closely with stakeholders to ensure that young people’s voices are heard and their concerns addressed.”

Sani Danaudi Mohammed also extended warm congratulations to Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, and President and Commander-in-Chief, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu, on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.

According to him, “This milestone presents an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s progress and the role of youths in shaping its future. We recognize the challenges facing our country, but we remain optimistic about the potential for growth and development. As youths, we are the driving force behind Nigeria’s transformation.”

He emphasized, “To achieve this, we urge authorities to prioritize youth-friendly policies, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Investments in these areas will equip young Nigerians with the skills and resources needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive world.”

“We identify key areas for partnership and collaboration, including education and skills development, youth entrepreneurship, and health and well-being. Enhancing access to quality education, supporting start-ups, and improving healthcare services will have a profound impact on our collective future.”

The YAN Speaker added, “In Bauchi State, we recognize opportunities for collaboration in agriculture, mineral resources, and tourism. By harnessing these resources, we can create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and improve living standards.”

He also called on Nigeria’s youths to support government efforts aimed at restoring the nation’s lost glory, engage in constructive dialogue, participate in community development projects, and advocate for policies that benefit their interests.

“As we celebrate this anniversary, we honor the sacrifices of our founding fathers and the progress made thus far. Let us unite in promoting peace, progress, and prosperity for all Nigerians,” he added.

He concluded, “Together, we can overcome obstacles and build a brighter future for Nigeria. Let us seize this moment to inspire positive change and shape a better tomorrow.”

“As we move forward, we draw inspiration from Nigeria’s resilience and the boundless potential of its youths. Happy 64th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria! May this milestone mark the beginning of a new era of hope, growth, and prosperity for our nation.”
