Nigeria will retrogress if Buhari is not re-elected in 2019 ―Group

Published by

IT has been asserted that Nigeria would retrogress if President Muhammadu Buhari was not re-elected in 2019 to enable him to complete all the viable legacy projects and reforms embarked upon by the APC led federal government.

The assertion was made by a Bauchi based political group known as ‘Bauchi Concerned Citizens’ during a massive rally organized by the group in support of the reelection bid of the President in the 2019 general elections.

Secretary-General of the group, Comrade Alkassim Nuhu Abdulkadi explained that over 5,000 youths have participated in the rally which was meant to show solidarity to Mr Buhari as well as counter the recent rejection of his re-election by the Arewa Consultative Forum and the Northern Elders Forum at a news conference.

According to him, the President deserved encomiums on his fight against corruption and insecurity appealing to the ‘cabals’ who sabotage the government to allow him to actualize his goal of making Nigeria a better place.

While applauding Buhari for rewarding Bauchi State with juicy federal appointments, Alkassim Abdulkadir urged the appointees to use their offices in empowering the youths and facilitating developments to the state.

He also called on the people of the State to reciprocate the kind gesture of the President by giving him their block votes to the in the forthcoming 2019 polls.
