THE Director of Catholic World Evangelical Outreach of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Very Reverend Father Anthony Mario Ozele, has assured Nigerians that the economic recession will soon ease off.
The cleric said this could only happen when Nigerians fully turn to God and base their lives on the word of God.
Rev. Fr. Ozele gave the assurance during the New Year service held at the Jubilee Conference Centre Effurun, Warri, Delta State.
He said that though Nigerians would still face more challenges in 2017, God has assured that He would do a new thing.
Dr Ozele urged Christians and all Nigerians to show appreciation to God for his continuous care, favour, love and peace.
He enjoined Nigerians to look backward and appreciate God who helped them to weather the storms in the past.
He also stressed that Nigerians should look backward in order to plan well so as to succeed in 2017.
