Why Nigeria has unsolved challenges —Prophet Kasali

Published by

THE General Overseer, Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry Worldwide (Ori Oke Alaseyori), Ibadan, Oyo State, Prophet Muyideen Kasali, has said increasing crimes and sins have made it “very difficult and tasking” for President Muhammadu Buhari to make headway in solving the nation’s problems.

Prophet Kasali told newsmen that he had a revelation from God that President Buhari might have completed his assignment as Nigeria’s leader.

The blind prophet, who spoke while being honoured with the Ogo Agbojesu of the Oke-Agelu Mountain Church in Iseyin, Oyo State, said Nigeria must return to God to get out of all its problems.

“Though the president means well for the country, sins are responsible for various challenges confronting the nation. Even in sickness, Buhari can still solve our problems but the burden of crimes and sins are making it difficult to achieve,” the cleric said.

On Buhari’s assignment for the nation, Kasali said: “God has revealed to me that the president may have completed his assignment as Nigeria’s leader in January 2017. Let us just return to God, If we do so and know who God really is, He would solve the challenges surrounding the president’s health.”

Kasali, who advised clerics at the mountain to shun acts that portrayed them as evil, instead of pastors, said that “they do not need evil rituals for their prayers to be answered.”

He said being truly born again and working in the ways of Jesus Christ as laid down by the Bible would guaranteed them anointing without stress.

In his address, Prophet Samuel Akintobi, who succeeded his late father, Alfred Akintobi, popularly known as Agbojesu, as the leader and founder of the church. said Oke-Agelu mountain started in 1933, about 84 years ago.

He said God called his father, through Prophet Moses Orimolade Tiolase, and inspired him to proceed to the mount where he made him a successful cleric.

“All you need is God’s anointing which comes with a price to pay, and that price is total submission to God’s will and the leading of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. You don’t need any ritual with any prayer objects. No.”

“Before the almighty touched me and anointed me for His works, I had suffered greatly, I suffered rejection from friends, siblings and even my parents. It was only my mother who believed in me. My father had dismissed me as a child who would never make anything out of his life.

All this is because I am blind. I was later abandoned in the bush and from the bush I was fetching firewood and coming to the village market nearby to sell so as to feed myself. I got infected with serious ailments which many thought were incurable. But one day, the almighty touched me, healed me and gave me an anointing far greater than my knowledge, understanding and imagination. Here I am today; I have many houses and great cars. As blind man, I have even given out cars worth millions to friends and some ministers of God.

Prophet Samuel Akintobi, who succeeded his late father, Alfred Akintobi, popularly known as  Agbojesu, as the leader and founder of the church said Oke-Agelu mount started in 1933 about 84 years ago.

He said God called his father through Prophet Moses Orimolade Tiolase, and inspired him to proceed to the mount where he made him a successful cleric.

He added that God draws thousands of members and believers from within and outside Nigeria to the mountain for the programme that holds every 24 -26 of July of every year and  give partakers  miracles and answers their prayers.

“ On every July 24, we usually have vigil till 25 when we climb the Holy mount for very seriously  prayers. God has since 1933 been very faithful to His words. He has been healing the sick, raising the dead and performing several miracles. That is why you see many people of all classes, the high and the low and even from abroad such as America and UK come here every year for prayers.

Akintobi also spoke about the current situation in our polity and cautioned the leaders and followers against working towards breaking up the country: “We pray that God ends war of attrition, and disunity. We don’t want this, we don’t want Nigeria to break up because God dwells where there is love, and we are praying as well as advising our leaders to work towards making Nigeria one.We pray that God will help them.”
