Nigeria records eight new COVID-19 infections, total now 167,059

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded eight new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 167,059.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Friday.

“8 new cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria; Akwa Ibom-4, Rivers-4

“167,059 confirmed, 163,436 discharged, 2,117 deaths.

“Today’s report includes: 6 states with 0 cases reported: FCT, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Sokoto.”
