Nigeria records 650 new cases of COVID-19, total now 190,983

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 650 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 190,983.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Facebook handle on Thursday.

“650 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-261, Ondo-95, Rivers -80, Akwa Ibom-59, Oyo-24, Ekiti-22, Delta-20, Edo-18, Enugu-15, Bayelsa-14, Ogun-11, Kaduna-8, Plateau-7, Kano-6, FCT-5, Gombe-3, Abia-2.

“190,983 confirmed, 178,047 discharged, 2,361 deaths.

“Today’s report includes:Backlog of discharged cases and deaths for Lagos State from 4th August 2021, Four states with zero cases reported: Borno, Nasarawa, Ondo and Sokoto.”
