As conventional office occupancy continues to fall, globally, Nigerian businesses have begun to embrace flexible workspace, like others around the globe.
The Founder/CEO, International Workplace Group PLC, Mark Nixon, stated this at a media briefing to unveil plans by the group to open two flexible workspaces- Link Bridge and Regus Lagos Mansard Place, in Lagos.
Nixon, who described the plans as a response to the growing demand for hybrid workspaces in Nigeria, stated that the new workspaces are part of IWG’s expansion strategy following its network growth with 465 new locations signed in the first half of 2024.
The two new spaces, he stated, would cater to businesses of all sizes, and offer a range of flexible office solutions including private offices, meeting rooms, and co-working spaces.
According to him, HQ Lagos workspace, and the Regus location at Mansard Place, will commence operations in the first quarter of next year.
According to him, as hybrid working begins to take centre stage, the group is aligning with the increasing demand for flexible office space, expected to make.up 30 percent of global commercial real estate by 2030.
The Group’s multi-brand strategy is designed to provide businesses of all sizes with the flexibility to grow, adapt, and reduce costs, while enhancing productivity and employee satisfaction.
