Nigeria: China firm, partner win $1.85bn railway construction contract

China Railway Construction unit and partner have said that they won a construction project worth $1.85 billion in Nigeria.

The company said in a release on Tuesday that its unit China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co Ltd form a consortium with China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group Co Ltd and won bid to build a light rail line in Nigeria for $1.85 billion

The construction period, it said would last four years.
