Niger SSG hails Gov Bago at 51

The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has hailed the State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago as he marks his 51st birthday on Saturday.

The SSG in his message to celebrate this epoch-making event disclosed that this milestone marks another year of dedicated service, transformative leadership, and unwavering commitment to the development of Niger State.

Governor Bago, affectionately known as the “Farmer Governor,” the SSG said has consistently demonstrated his passion for agriculture, rural development, and sustainable growth, highlighting that under his leadership, the state has witnessed remarkable progress in key sectors, including agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. His innovative policies and hands-on approach have earned him widespread admiration and respect across the state and beyond.

Usman expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their support and trust while reiterating the state government’s commitment to building a prosperous and inclusive state where every citizen can thrive.

He noted that Governor Bago’s administration has spearheaded initiatives to modernize agriculture, empower farmers, and boost food security in the state, stressing that significant investments in road construction, rural electrification, and urban renewal projects have also transformed the state’s landscape.

Usman appealed to the people of the state to continue supporting the governor’s vision for a brighter future and pray for divine blessings, renewed strength, and good health upon the celebrant, enabling him to continue serving Niger State and humanity with fervour in the years ahead.
