The All Progressives Congress (APC) executives in Magama Local Government Area of Niger have passed a vote of confidence in Council Chairman Hon. Safiyanu Yahaya, affirming their support for his administration as he nears the end of his tenure.
According to a statement signed by 17 out of 20 party executives, including the Party’s Legal Adviser, Sale Aliyu, the executives expressed their full support for Hon. Yahaya’s leadership.
The statement, made available to journalists in Minna, emphasised the importance of unity, peace, and understanding among party members to maintain the APC’s position as the ruling party in the area.
The executives also disassociated themselves from individuals or groups attempting to create disunity and disrespect within the party.
They called on party supporters to rally behind the eventual flag bearer for the forthcoming Chairmanship position and urged past contestants to support the chosen candidate to ensure victory in the November 2025 local government elections.
