Niger lawmaker launches employment programme for 3000 constituents

Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Niger in the House of Representatives, Honourable Saidu Musa Abdul is set to empower 3,000 youths, students, women, and indigent persons across the Federal Constituency.

The First Batch of beneficiaries comprising 600 students from different Tertiary Institutions across the Country, and 400 persons making a total of 1,000 beneficiaries will start receiving payments through their Bank Accounts from Wednesday, 20th March 2024.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that each student will be receiving N50,000.00 only, except students presently in Nigerian Law School who are members of Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency that will earn N200,000.00 each.

It was further learned that the remaining 400 beneficiaries from the First Batch will receive payments in the range of N50,000.00, N100,000.00, N200,000.00, and N250,000.00 only individually.

Meanwhile, the Second Batch comprising 2,000 beneficiaries will receive payments through direct cash disbursements this weekend at Bida, Niger State from the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Finance who doubles as the Gwazon Nupe.
