Niger Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has said that 30,000 farmers in the State will be empowered with farming tools as part of his administration’s Agricultural transformation.
The Governor who stated this at the close of a two-day retreat organised for Commissioners, SSAs, Local Government Council Chairmen and House of Assembly members reiterated that the State Government remains resolute in improving the Agriculture sector in the State and will provide all the necessary facilities for farmers to boost the sector.
Fertilizers, other Agro-allied chemicals as well as basic farming tools are expected to be distributed to the 30,000 beneficiaries next week.
