Niger coup: Pray for Allah’s intervention, Emir Bayero urges Nigerians

Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero has called on entire Nigerians to seek Allah’s intervention following the political instability in Niger Republic.

He stated that applying forces on the matter will affect neighbouring States like Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Yobe and Sokoto.

He therefore urged the ECOWAS under the leadership of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to consider applying diplomatic strategies in resolving the crisis instated of using military forces.

Alhaji Bayero made this known while speaking during the annual Tijjaniya Zikiri and Prayers Organized in his palace

According to him, the situation of Niger Republic needs prayers and dialogue to resolve it amicably.

He said Niger Republic and Nigeria are brother keepers in terms of religion, culture and other day today activities which need special prayers to protect against any attempt that would destroy them.

The Emir then expressed concern about the current hardship the people are facing in transportation, food, education, health care and their other daily engagements and urged federal, State and local Governments to take urgent action in improving the living condition of Nigerians.

Bayero spoke at length on the significance of reciting the holy Qur’an, the names of Almighty Allah and abiding by the teaching of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him in the lives of the Muslims Ummah.

He also said the annual gathering was initiated by the Bichi Emirate to remind the people of the emirate and the entire Muslims Ummah the task ahead of them in abiding by the teaching of Islam in all their dealings.

He thanked the organising committee of the occasion and all those that contributed towards its success

He also prayed that all Islamic Scholars and other guests that attended the session from various parts of the country return to their respective destinations safely.

The gathering was rounded up with special prayers for the seek of the Almighty Allah to come to the end of security and social and economic challenges in the country.
