The Majilisa Maccido Andaha, an NGO in Nasarawa State, says it is collaborating with the State Government to create jobs for the citizens.
Mr Lucas Sani, the Chairman of the organisation, said this on Tuesday in Lafia during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr Tsentse Dandaura (APC-Akwanga North).
Sani said that the visit was to congratulate Daudaura on his successful inauguration as a lawmaker and deputy speaker of the House.
He also told the lawmaker that the visit was to assure him of their support and prayers to enable him to succeed in the task ahead.

“We are here to congratulate you on your successful inauguration as a member and deputy speaker of the House.
“As an NGO, we have intervened in so many areas like the area of education, health and bridge construction, among others, toward bettering the standard of living of the people of the state.
“We have also trained over 630 youths and women in the state in different skills acquisition programmes to enable them to become self-reliant.
“We trained them on tailoring and ICT, among other different skills, so as to change their lives positively.
“We are ready to partner with the state government in the area of job creation,” he said.
Sani also urged the state government to key into good policies and programmes through industrialisation that would create job opportunities for the people of the state.
The chairman solicited the state government’s support and assistance to enable it to succeed.
Responding, Dandaura appreciated them for the visit and promised to provide sound and quality leadership to his constituents and the people of the state at large.
The deputy speaker called on members of the NGO and other Nigerians to support government policies and programmes to enable them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
