In its step towards global outreach and empowerment, the Give the Nations (GTN) Project, a non-profit organisation, has announced a strategic partnership with Love World Global Fellowship’s Day of Salvation programme.
This collaboration aims to provide essential relief to communities around the world while fostering economic and social development.
During its press briefing on Wednesday, September 18, the spokesperson for GTN highlighted the organisation’s commitment to empowering young people, women, and the underprivileged through various grants, empowerment programmes, and skills acquisition initiatives.
Till date, GTN has empowered over 5,000 young people with skills that enable them to contribute not only to their communities but also to the global economy. With a focus on sustainable development, the organisation has also played a pivotal role in addressing unemployment by providing in-demand vocational skills.
“Our mission is to raise the next generation of global leaders, and we achieve this through our carefully structured programmes that ensure excellence and measurable results,” Precious Jefferson, the GTN representative stated.
“Through our empowerment programmes, we have already reached over 5,000 young people and women, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.”
One of GTN’s flagship initiatives is the “Oasis Water Project,” to construct over 1000 boreholes in different nations of the world as required, not just Nigeria. The initiative aims to provide clean and safe environments for various global communities, with a project completion target of December 2024.
In addition, GTN’s Mission Week has emerged as a key highlight of their global outreach. This week, the organisation distributes vital food relief items, including over 25,000 bags of rice, to communities in need. This effort, which spans beyond Lagos, has already made a difference in multiple regions globally, alleviating hunger and poverty in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Day of Salvation, spearheaded by Love World Global Fellowship, aligns with GTN’s mission. The event focuses on both spiritual and material salvation, aiming to bless and uplift people in need. A representative from the Day of Salvation team, Mr. Michael Falokun, emphasised the significance of the collaboration.
“Day of Salvation is a global event taking place in multiple cities, including Pakistan, India, Rwanda, Egypt, and Angola. It’s a day for the harvest of souls, but equally, it’s a day to bless people and bring relief to the needy,” Falokun explained.
“GTN’s willingness to partner with us has enabled us to reach even more people, not just in Nigeria but across the globe.”
With activities spreading across the 36 states of Nigeria and various countries worldwide, this partnership represents a powerful step towards global relief efforts, ensuring that both spiritual and physical needs are met.
GTN and Love World Global Fellowship’s joint efforts are creating a ripple effect of hope and empowerment, proving that through collaboration and a shared vision, communities can be uplifted and lives transformed.
