The Jigawa State office of the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery And Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) signed a bond for proper utilizations of support facilities with over 41,790 people who benefited from the result area ll Fadama programme.
The State FADAMA CARES Coordinator, Dr. Aliyu Inuwa disclosed this while speaking during the distribution of incubators to beneficiaries in Kafin Hausa Local Government in the state, said this is aimed at making for the beneficiaries to made good uses of agreed facilities
According to the coordinator “This agreement serves as a bond between the government and the beneficiaries. It ensures that resources are used effectively to meet the goals of economic recovery and sustainability,” he said.
Dr Aliyu Inuwa explained that ” the NG-CARES Results Area ll has supported over 47,790 individuals in Jigawa State to recover from the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
The coordinator expressed concern over the miss use of the the facilities supported at the fast.

Inuwa emphasis that “we have supported over 47,790 persons including; Rice 3,360 individuals, Maize 2,210, Millet 4,330 Sorghum 3,650 and Poultry 1,660 individuals”
Others are Goats: 5,700, Sheep 1,330, Processing machines 710 , Water pumps 4,210, Fingerlings 100, Local chicks 1,280 , Agricultural equipment, 100, Spaghetti-making machines 550, Drilling machines 170, Incubators 270, Food items 16,200 and Personal protective equipment 270 individuals”
Dr. Inuwa emphasized that the program’s beneficiaries would be closely monitored to ensure compliance with the agreement. He warned that any violations would attract legal consequences.
“This initiative is not just about recovery; it’s about creating sustainable livelihoods for our people. Beneficiaries must adhere to the guidelines to ensure that the program achieves its objectives,” he stated.
