Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Zanna Ibrahim, gave the charge on Monday at the State Police Headquarters, Asaba, while decorating the three benefiting officers in the Command.
The three officers so decorated were: ACP Adepoju Ilori, Area Commander, Ughelli, who was promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and CSP Umar Ibn Ahmed, Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ekpan Division, who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
The third decorated officer was CSP Roland Okoh, Divisional Police officer (DPO), Nsukwa Division, who got a promotion to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
DCP Adepoju Ilori, while responding on behalf of the other beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to God and the police hierarchy for the promotion and promised that they would put in their best to justify their new status.
Meanwhile, CP Zanna has noted that Orerokpe Police Division is under the newly created Sapele Area Command and not under Ughelli Area Command as earlier reflected in a previous release made available to journalists in the state.
