New record label creates platform to support upcoming acts

Shafer Records, a brand new record label has opened up its doors to talented acts. The label which was officially launched on 12 October, 2016, promised to scout the “streets” to discover and groom music talents who may not have the resources to pursue their passion.

According to Isaiah Oyibo, Chief Executive Officer of Shafer Records, the label intends to produce top artistes who are capable of producing good music across Africa and influence the lifestyle of its esteemed audience and fans positively.

‘Too Much Love’, which was produced by Lugi, is the first collective effort of Shafer Records acts. The label has three artistes signed to it. They  are Lugi, Eluku and Theory. The record label has been endorsed by notable Nigerian music industry players such as Vector and Del B, amongst others. The team effort of the label “Too Much Love” is currently enjoying airplay across Nigeria. The label also has an in-house state of the art studio.

Shafer Records, which is the brainchild of a South African-based entrepreneur, Isaiah Oyibo (Shafer), was founded as a wholly independent music label on February 17th, 2016.
