As the festive season kicks off, Netflix is set to deliver a slate of exciting content for every taste, from action-packed thrillers to gripping dramas, heartfelt romances, and more. December promises to be an unforgettable month for subscribers, with a host of highly anticipated premieres.
One of the most eagerly awaited releases is Seven Doors, a new limited series set to debut on December 13th. Directed by renowned actor Femi Adebayo in his directorial debut, Seven Doors follows the life of a man who is thrust into the role of king in his village, only for his reign to be challenged by an ancient prophecy filled with blood and fury.
The series, set in 18th and 19th century Nigeria, features a stellar cast, including Muyiwa Ademola, Jide Kosoko, Chioma Akpotha, Adebayo Salami, Ronke Oshodi, Aisha Lawal, Yinka Quadri, Gabriel Afolayan, and Femi Adebayo. Following his success with Jagun Jagun, which garnered awards at the AMVCA and AMAA, Seven Doors is poised to captivate audiences with its powerful storytelling.
But that’s just one of the exciting new releases coming in December. On December 1st, a range of titles will hit Netflix, including Jin: Seasons 1-2, Firestarter, Taxi Driver, Stealth, and Riverdale: Season 7.
Reality TV fans can dive into The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On (Season 3) on December 4th, where six couples put their relationships to the test by moving in with potential new partners for an eye-opening social experiment.
The drama continues on December 5th with Black Doves, a thriller about a spy who, while posing as a politician’s wife, embarks on a mission for vengeance after learning her lover has been murdered.
For a lighter watch, check out Camp Crasher on December 6th, where a single mom steps in as a bus driver to save her son’s camping trip, proving that she can be both supportive and “cool.”
On December 10th, comedy icon Jamie Foxx returns to the stage for Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…, a special that celebrates humor, resilience, and community. Also on the 10th, Rugged Rugby: Conquer or Die brings viewers into the competitive world of Korea’s rugby scene, while Polo, a docuseries offering a behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional polo, will also debut.
On December 12th, No Good Deed will delve into the dark secrets of a seemingly perfect family as they navigate the sale of their LA home.
