Neo Phlames speaks on new single, Sharp Shooter

Following the reactions that has trailed his new single entitled: Sharp Shooter, fast-rising artiste,  Adeniyi Adewoyin otherwise known as Neo Phlames, has debunked rumours doing the round that the song revealed him as a womaniser.

According to the artiste, who described his genre of music as ‘Conscious Indigenous music; the new work has nothing to do with his personality, rather a best title to complement his new recording.

“Guys who womanise are mostly called sharp shooter, but I don’t womanize. I believe in having one woman at a time and focusing on growth with the love you’ve found. Moreover, it is just the title of my new single.”

Phlames added: “Though I have a personal experience that gave room for such insinuation, it is not true. I’m a cool and responsible personality. So, as a true artiste, I got the inspiration from that experience. This was how the song came into a reality. I like to write my songs based on reality and I guess that is why I will always have things to sing about since events happen every day.”

Neo, who is not a signee of any record label, has been doing quite well for himself since he debuted with Arambada last year and has since done other songs such as Mind and Logba which has a video that is enjoying massive rotation on TV and radio.

He, however, revealed that plans were afoot to take his music brand nationwide.

“I and my team are planning on something. There is no label but we can’t watch this great talent die so we keep strategising and praying we get this good music out there. Our fans and lovers of music deserve good music and I am proud to be one of the very few with good contents that can stand the test of time” Neo Phlames added.
