We need stiff laws against cultism

Published by
Cultism

RECENTLY, sporadic cases of cultism increased in the country and this worrisome development is not limited to any state, the recent and very deadly is the BADOO in Ikorodu area of Lagos state. There are other social vices like kidnapping and ritual killings. All these should be tackled without delay because proscastination is a thief of time. The three tiers of govrnnent should take the bull by the horn now, if this is taken as a  paramount, promptly taken care of and perpetrators arrested, it will serve as a lesson to other perpetrators and their godfathers who should be equally apprehended. As a panacea to these deadly crimes, government  should make it a point of duty to create more jobs and also fill vacancies  on merit, not on who knows who basis.
