The Anambra State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) has arrested a man, identified as a notorious drug dealer, one Chimezie Okoye in Awka, Anambra
The Public Relations Officer of the agency in the State, Mr Charles Odigie Efosa, who disclosed the arrest in a statement said Mr Chimezie Okoye, was popularly known as Don and operates within the “5” decking area in Ifite Awka area of the state capital.

“He said Mr Okoye Chimezie A.K.A Don was arrested with 6.5 grammes of methamphetamine and 3.3 kg of Cannabis Sativa (Skunk) at his God of grace lodge “5” decking in Awka on Saturday 25th May 2019.”
He quoted the State Commander of NDLEA, Mr Momodu Sule, as saying that the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution, to serve as a deterrent to other drug dealers in the town.
Sule advised others involved in the illicit business to either shun it or face the music as his command was ready to fight dealers of hard drugs in the State.
