The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Abuja Journalist, Albert Akota, at his Mpape residence in Abuja.

The NCPC boss who visited with his entourage was received by the widow of the deceased, Mrs Holiness Akoka, his three children and other family members.

In his consolation message, he said that God would never abandon the family and promised that the Commission would support her to go on pilgrimage to Israel in the next pilgrimage exercise as a fulfillment of the long life ambition of her late husband, which he was not able to actualize before the cold hands of death took him away.

He assured her that the Commission would provide educational support for the three children of the late Journalist.

Bishop Adegbite also promised to enroll the children of the late journalist in his family foundation programme for financial support annually.

It would be recalled that the late Albert Akota was among the Journalists who covered the first assumption of office of the 4th Substantive Executive secretary of NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite.
