The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved six new additional courses for the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The director of information in the polytechnic, Mr. Ade Adeyemi-Adejolu, in a statement said the newly approved courses would begin from the 2019/2020 academic session.
He listed the new courses to include National Diploma in Mass Communication, Arts and Industrial Design, and Horticultural Technology and Taxation.

Others are Higher National Diploma (HND) in Ceramics Technology; Crop Production Technology and HND programme in Purchasing and Supply.
“The commencement of the six new programmes stemmed from the recent approval by the NBTE following the resource visitation conducted earlier this year.
“Also, other existing academic programmes that successfully scaled through the accreditation/reaccreditation visitation process are National Diploma in Agricultural Technology, among others.”
