NBA Ado-Ekiti swears in new executives

The Ado-Ekiti branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), on Wednesday, elected new Executive members in a keenly contested election and has sworn them in as the new leaders of the branch for the next two years.

The swearing-in ceremony which was held at the Are Afe Babalola Bar Center of the Association in Ado-Ekiti had in attendance Mr Kolapo Kolade, a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, who was also the chairman of the Electoral Committee and Mr Olakanmi Falade, the immediate past Chairman of the branch,

According to a statement from the newly elected Publicity Secretary of the branch Oluwaseyi Adetutu, the newly elected chairman, Mr Adeyemi Adewumi, in his welcome address, thanked all members for their presence and enjoined them all to support the new administration to achieve a unified bar and for the growth of the Branch.

Other officers of the branch are Abigail Aduralere Aladejare as Vice Chairman, Richard Oluwatobi Ogunbiyi as Secretary, Kehinde Bayode as Assistant Secretary, Stanley C. Okonkwo as Welfare Secretary, Oluwaseyi Ebenezer as Treasurer, Tomide Osakinle as Financial Secretary, Oluwaseyi Akomolafe as Legal Adviser and Oluwaseyi Adetutu, as the Publicity Secretary

Also in attendance at the ceremony were, Otunba Sunday Ochayi, Notary Public, Mrs Rita Ilevbare former Chairperson, FIDA Ekiti, former Social Secretary of the branch, Titi Ogunsina and Opeyemi Ogunremi, former Publicity Secretary, Mr Gbenga Adaramola, Chairman Emeritus and other members of the branch.
