Nasarawa NUT’ll call off strike 48hrs —Commissioner

THE Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Nasarawa State, Ahmed Tijani, has said that members of the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) who are on the local governments’ payroll would call off their one month strike within 48 hours.

The commissioner disclosed this on Wednesday, in Lafia, the state capital, shortly after a meeting with executives of the NUT.

He said that the state government and the union had resolved differences.
