The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone E has described the emergence of its Grand Patron, Ali Bukar Dalori, as the National Deputy Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the best decision for the growth and development of the APC.
The assertion was made by Comr. Bappah Hassan, NANS Zone E Coordinator, while addressing a Press conference on Wednesday.
He said that “We are thrilled to join the most eminent sons and daughters of the North East, the North, and indeed the entire country in celebrating this great Nigerian.”
According to him, “As the highest student body, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) wishes to state that the ruling All Progressive Congress has made a decision that will sustain the foundations of the Members of the founding foundation of the party of which our Grand Patron, Dalori, is one.”
He further said that “We, by this, wish to felicitate our Grand Patron, Rt. Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, on his emerging as the National Deputy Chairman, North, and particularly the youth and student body in the region.”
Bappah Hassan explained that “Our reasons are as a result of his wide acceptance across boards, particularly the NANS Zone E, that has accorded and recognised in different forums his contributions to the upliftment of Students within the North East region and the country in general.”
According to him, since the formation of the party over 10 years ago, Ali Dalori has been one of the front runners that gave it all to the success of the party, especially the triumph of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu GCFR and Vice President Senator Kashim Shetima GCON.”
“We have worked very closely with him as our Grand Patron; he was the reason why many student groups and NANS, in particular, opted to massively support him, he stressed.
The NANS Zonal Coordinator further said that “No doubt, Ali Dalori is now a household name in Nigerian politics, and one attribute that differentiates him from his contemporaries is his philanthropic and golden heart.”
He stressed that, “We are proud to associate and identify ourselves with this noble personality that has assisted hundreds of young Nigerians, across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, to be self-reliant.”
“His recent emergence as the National Deputy Chairman of the ruling APC is a testimony to his leadership qualities, making him a reference point in the political discourse in Nigeria,” he added.
According to him, “His wide acceptance within and outside Borno State has brought succour to the party and has on different occasions made him the Chairman of the APC States Chairmen Forum of Nigeria, and the party has since continued to gain wide acceptance in Nigeria and outside the country.”
Bappah Hassan added that he has initiated and implemented numerous policies and programmes that have attracted so much youth attention.
An experienced leader and politician, Ali Dalori was a three-time councillor, a member of the Borno State House of Assembly, and a six-time chairman of Konduga local government.”
“Since joining active politics, Ali Dalori has been an active and grassroots politician of high repute that is respected by all and sundry.
These are the reasons why we, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS Zone E), comprising Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Adamawa, and Taraba States, are proudly associating ourselves with his widely read and documented achievements.
We are confident that the APC will heal and keep soaring higher with his emergence,” The NANS Zonal Coordinator concluded.
He then appreciated, “in a most profound way, the media for supporting and taking over the whole country with the announcement of Rt. Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori as National Deputy Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress.”
