The newly elected Zonal Coordinator of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), North-East Zone, Comràde Bappah Hassan Adam says that the reappointment of Mohammed Alkali as MD/CEO of North-East Development Commission (NEDC) is another plus to educational development in the zone.
According to him, “His Reappointment did not come to Nigerian Students as a surprise, we have been praying and expecting this, because of his dedication, commitment towards the development of our Zone, the North East”.
Bappah Hassan Adams was speaking in Damaturu on Wednesday while reacting to the confirmation of the reappointment by the Senate recently.
He said, “Nigerian Students from the North-East are indeed proud of him and his tremendous contributions to the development of our Zone. We are very much sure he will continue with his kind gesture and dedication.”
Bappah Hassan Adams added, “The Commission has done beyond expectations under his watch during his first tenure in office. Mohammed Alkali is an exemplary leader and we are good Ambassadors of the Commission.”
He pointed out, “His contributions to our Association last year by giving us palliatives and supporting our programs is highly acknowledged. We shall continue to pray for him and wish him more success.”
He added, “We are proud of the Commission’s development in our Zone and also the appointment of Dr Abubakar Garba Iliya as Executive Director, Admin, and Finance in the Commission did not also come to us as a surprise because of his diligent service to humanity. He has done so much and we are expecting much more from him. United we stand.”
