The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Ambassador for South-West Zone D, Dr Idowu Adewunmi, has felicitate the governor of Osun State, Mr Ademola Adeleke, on the occasion of his birth anniversary celebration and the conferment of a chieftaincy title of Asiwaju of Edeland on him by the Timi of Edeland, Oba Dr. Munirudeen Adesola Lawal (Laminisa I, today.
According to a statement signed by Adewunmi, Governor Ademola Adeleke exemplifies the virtues of leadership, resilience, and commitment to the welfare of the people, which are commendable and worthy of emulation.
The statement reads in parts:”His dedication to the progress and development of Osun State has been evident through various initiatives aimed at enhancing the socio-economic well-being of its citizens.
“As the Executive Governor of Osun State, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated remarkable leadership acumen in steering the affairs of the state, fostering peace, unity, and progress across all sectors. His visionary leadership has significantly contributed to the advancement of education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment within the state.
“The conferment of a new Chieftaincy title is a testament to Governor Adeleke’s esteemed position within the traditional institution and his unwavering commitment to upholding the cultural heritage and values of Osun State.”
