The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students has cautioned Nasiba Sani Dauda, the estranged wife of a former Vice-President of the Association, Comrade Musa Abubakar over uncomplimentary comments in a section of the media.
NANS President, Comrade Danielson Akpan who briefed newsmen on the development on Friday, said the leadership of the Association was unhappy that Dauda had taken to social media to blackmail her husband that the marriage was consummated in December 2016.
He said the media trial of a NANS leader would not be condoned, especially when it involves someone that had contributed immensely to the growth and development of the Association.

Akpan noted that even though Nasiba Dauda absconded from the marriage few months after they were joined together, in the eye of the law, “she remains Abubakar’s wife until a competent court of law pronounces their divorce.
According to him, a divorce case between the two was pending at the Grade 1 Area Court, Gudu, Abuja, wondering why Dauda decided to take to Instagram to make uncomplimentary comments against Abubakar.
He warned that the leadership of NANS would not hesitate to mobilise her members against anyone attempting to disparage current and former leaders of the Association.
He said: “We wish to use this medium to call on the public to discountenance the falsehood being bandied in the media by Nasiba and her co-conspirators as there is no iota of fact in any of her publications.
“Musa Abubakar is known to NANS and anyone that might have had dealings with him would attest to the fact that he is a man of pristine integrity, candour, tolerance and above all, adherence to due process and rule of law.
