The delegation is expected to meet with the President of Liberia, George Weah to discuss how to open new vistas of opportunities for Nigerian students and Nigerians at large.
NANS Public Relations Officer, Comrade Azeez Adeyemi in a statement on Friday in Abuja said the Association leadership was invited to attend the inauguration of Liberia National Students’ Union.
He said in honouring invitation, the National President of NANS would lead the following officials to Liberia next week. They are Comrade Adeyemi Azeez (PRO), Comrade Ojo Raymond, Vice-President, External Affairs, Comrade Umaru Faruk, Comrade Okereke Godson.
Adeyemi said this visit would no “doubt avail the national leadership of NANS to brainstorm with the government of Liberia, thereby open doors of opportunities for Nigerian students and Nigerians at large.
“NANS leadership shall have an interactive section with President George Weah, the Nigerian Consulate in Liberia, visit historic and tourism centres and grant international press interviews.
“The president of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Akpan, has directed that, the Senate President, Comr. Gambo Abubakar Mohammed, the Vice President National Affairs, Comr. Chidi Ilogebe and the General Secretary, Comr. Umar Yusuf Farouk should be contacted for any challenge or necessary action(s),” the statement said.
