NANS lauds Oyo govt for reopening EACOED

The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Oyo State Chapter led by Comrade Moronkola Teslim Abiola has appreciated the Oyo State Government in her effort to reopen Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo after four months closure.
A release made available to Nigerian Tribune revealed that, there was a progressive stakeholders meeting at the Conference Room of the Oyo State Ministry of Education on November 4, 2018, which was  chaired by Dr Bisi Akin-Alabi, the Special Adviser to Oyo State Government on Education.
The meeting witnessed the attendance of the College Management, Representatives of the State Government, Ag. Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, the College Governing Council, NANS Oyo Representatives, COEASU Chairman, NASU Chairman, SSUCOEN Chairman and Students’ Union of the college.
The student body specially thanked Dr Bisi Akin-Alabi for her efforts and devotions towards making the exercise a success. “She did not disappoint our expectations and trust. She has of course proved herself as an outstanding administrator who can hold firmly greater positions if trusted with.”
NANS Oyo State thanked the Governing Council of the college for her efforts. They, however noted that without their inclusion, it would have been a fruitless exercise. They  thanked their magnanimity and accommodation of the staff unions.
The position of COEASU to shift ground and welcome dialogue is greatly appreciated by Nigerian students of Oyo State. It is understandable that their is no winner or no vanquish.
NANS equally appreciateed and thanked the NASU and SSUCOEN for their understanding.
They further called on the state hovernment to always pro-actively see to students’ demands as it always concern her members and by extension workers of the state.
