Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie my favourite Afrobeat artistes –ElizabethX

American artiste, Rahaile Foday, popularly known as ElizabethX, has declared her love for Afrobeat and listed some of her favourite African artistes, after gracing the last Afronation&Afrochella events which was hosted in Ghana.

She claimed to have been an ardent follower of the growth of Afrobeats and hailed the wide spread and acceptance of the genre globally.

“I love what Africans have done with Afrobeats. The efforts and unique sound have led to the global widespread of the genre. What a good time to be African!

“I love the upbeat tempo of Afrobeats and do appreciate it when an artist can blend upbeat rhythm and chill vibe at the same time”, the singer said.

She further acknowledged some African artistes who would perform well with her foreign style.

“I believe the style of artistes like Sarkodie and Naira Marley can go with my style of music. I am generally a slow tempo type. I want to exhibit diversity by mixing with Afrobeats but not lose my style of music at the same time. Aside the ones mentioned above, here are a few more of my favoriteAfrobeats artist – Tiwa Savage, KwabenaKwabena and Kiss Daniel.”

With her visit to Africa and profession of love for Afrobeats, music fans are already looking forward to an Afrobeats song from ElizabethX and some African artistes.
