The president of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi has praised the choice of Abubakar Dantsoho as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

Chief Ezisi in a chat with some journalists said that he believes that the appointment of Dantsoho by President Bola Tinubu is a great  testament to his career experiences, his professional competence and his administrative acumen.

Chief Ezisi added that he believes that the new Managing Director will use his long standing career experiences to revitalise,  reposition and reengineer the operations at the NPA for modern seamless ports operation and the economic advancement of the nation.

He also drew the attention of Dantsoho to a number of areas to focus on as he points out that the issue of adequate security, repair of Port quays, staff welfare and the revisiting of the Port concession agreement as well as the continuous repair of Ports access roads for free traffic should be looked into.

Chief Ezisi expressed the optimism that a new and fresh lease of life would be blown into every area of the operations of the NPA and that his trusted ability will be brought to bear on the Authority for the greater development of the maritime sector of the Nigerian economy.
