NACOMYO begins 3-day conference in Katsina

THE National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations (NACOMYO) will today begin a three-day national summit on youths and drug abuse.

The conference, themed ‘Drug Abuse: Workable Solution for Now and Future,’ will be held at the auditorium of the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Katsina, Katsina State.

According to a statement, the keynote address will be delivered by Dr Tajudeen Abiola of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna, while the state governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, will be the chief host.

Also expected at the summit are the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar and governors of states in the northern part of the country.

The programme, which will feature paper presentations, discussions and group interactions, is expected to draw participants from all parts of the country.
